We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join our team at IMA Medical Group. You will play a vital role in driving business growth. By relationships with the business stakeholders and health plans while collecting, analyzing, and communicating data. Duties include analyzing healthcare business processes & data sets to optimize business operations; communicating findings through stories & data visualizations; and developing automated dashboards & detailed reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with business partners to understand their processes and achieve operational needs and goals.
  • Using various data sources, analyze data to find patterns and trends to deliver healthcare insights to management for decision making.
  • Develop easy to understand reports and visualizations for operational and clinical healthcare data.
  • Provide quality assurance and development support to the new & existing business applications and data products.
  • Lead the development of enterprise data governance to include definitions, lineage, business logic, and acceptable use policies.
  • Present analytic insights to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Troubleshooting reports and dashboards for both development and productions support
  • Coaching and mentoring more junior team members.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, healthcare administration, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree advantageous.
  • 5+ years' experience in an analytic role.
  • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL.
  • Proficiency developing data visualizations, dashboards and reports using Qlik and/ or SSRS (or another BI platform) to support operational processes and management decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of the data management lifecycle and related applications.
  • Experience in healthcare and working with medical data from operational systems and the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and/ or CMS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python for data manipulation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
