Job Description:
- Construct, design, write and document complex programs using Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Business Objects, SAS, SQL, Crystal Reports) to gather statistical data, ensuring that the most efficient procedures are used to access, investigate, and analyze data.
- Develop, analyze, report and interpret complex data for ongoing activities/projects. Ensure that all data is accurate and available to meet establish deadlines.
- Migrate data from various sources to new systems or platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful transfer of data while maintaining data integrity and security.
- Analyze existing data sources and develop migration strategies.
- Design and implement data migration processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Develop scripts and programs using SQL to automate data migration tasks.
- Working knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, DB2), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping rules and ensure accurate data transfer.
- Perform data quality checks and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Monitor data migration progress and provide regular updates to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security protocols.
- Technical experience regarding data models (logical and physical) database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Perform mass data imports/exports using the API or various import tools.
- Familiar with effective approaches and practical experience in data migration, data quality, master data management, and data security, including the use of relevant tools.
