As the Senior Director of Technology and Product Development, you will provide scientific leadership of technology collaborations with pharmaceutical partners while also contributing to the strategic positioning and technical design of next-generation Iambic AI technologies, such as NeuralPLexer and Enchant. This role requires a strong technical background in AI-driven biotech, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between technology development, scientific execution, and business partnership.

As the Senior Director of Technology and Product Development, you will provide scientific leadership of technology collaborations with pharmaceutical partners while also contributing to the strategic positioning and technical design of next-generation Iambic AI technologies, such as NeuralPLexer and Enchant. This role requires a strong technical background in AI-driven biotech, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between technology development, scientific execution, and business partnership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Partnerships & Alliances:
- Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with biotech, pharma, AI, and research organizations, with particular focus on technology and platform collaborations
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth execution of joint initiatives.
Cross-functional Product Development:
- Work closely with technical teams to align AI capabilities with business needs.
- Coordinate with regulatory, compliance, and legal teams to navigate industry regulations and data governance.
- Develop business cases, go-to-market strategies, and value propositions for AI-based solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, AI/ML, Business, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in AI-driven healthcare, product development, strategic alliances, or computationally driven drug discovery or clinical development.
- Strong knowledge of AI applications in drug discovery, clinical design, machine learning, and computational modeling.
- Proven track record of establishing and managing technology partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with regulatory considerations and compliance in the biotech industry is a plus.
