SUMMARY:
With focus on the North American territory, the Senior Director, Outside Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving Aved's sales strategy, growth, and the profitability of the organization. Reporting to the Group President, Medical & Robotics, the role will manage a team of inside sales representatives and customer service representatives, developing and executing sales plans, and fostering relationships with key customers to achieve revenue targets.

Reporting to the Group President, Medical & Robotics, the role will manage a team of inside sales representatives and customer service representatives, developing and executing sales plans, and fostering relationships with key customers to achieve revenue targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Develops and implements a comprehensive sales strategy and plan that aligns with Aved's objectives for growth. Ensures sales initiatives are effectively executed to penetrate market share and drive revenue.
- Identifies new market opportunities and develops strategy to penetrate and grow Aved's customer base. Leads efforts to acquire new customers and expand relationships with existing customers to maximize opportunity.
- Builds and maintains strong, long-term customer relationships with Aved's existing key customers and long-term partners. Intrinsically understands customer need and provides tailored solutions to consistently meet both demand and need.
- Monitors Aved sales performance and analyze all sales and relevant data metrics.
- Identifies trends, areas of improvement and opportunities for growth. Develop and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure that all sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Stays informed of market conditions and competitor activity. Utilize all industry trends and knowledge to drive the business forward.
- Develops and manages a sales budget, including forecasting sales targets, setting revenue goals and managing expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPENTENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in outside sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership sales role within a manufacturing, industrial or engineering organization.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience with a diverse portfolio of sales and performance tools.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive a sales team to achieve the highest possible performance among Aved's existing and potential customer base.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Requires domestic travel up to 70% as needed for trade shows, organic growth and to drive new accounts and relationships forward.
