This role performs system and board-level bring-up, and tests/verifies circuits, developing test fixtures, and authoring test protocols/reports. Our system is a Class II/III medical device which contains multiple real-time MCUs, multiple circuit boards, high-power analog and digital circuits. The successful individual will feel at home in an R&D lab and have experience analyzing and debugging complex systems using standard lab equipment, such as high-speed oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and precision DMMs, etc.

You'll Make an Impact By:

  • Designing, debugging, and analyzing circuitry for usage within a complex system with precision analog/timing requirements.
  • Recommending changes in circuitry and/or other specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
  • Board & circuit bring-up.
  • Troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical medical device system.
  • Aiding with 60601 standards and EMC/EMI circuit development and testing.
  • Assisting the Manufacturing Team, helping troubleshoot systems, documenting and training them on assembly and test procedures.
  • Preparing diagnostic tests, setting up test apparatus, and conducting operational/functional tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of prototype items. May assist in the design, construction, test and checkout of complex test equipment and the development of test procedures.
  • Analyzing and interpreting test data, adjusting, calibrating, aligning, and modifying circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.
