About the Role:
The Sr. Events Specialist is responsible for leading the execution of event logistics for internal and external events. These events include large annual conferences, smaller regional meetings and an assortment of employee engagement events. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager with superior organization and communication skills, who interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of leadership, across multiple teams, as well as with external vendors and clients. The Sr. Events Specialist will report to the Sr. Director, Communications, Events & PR.

About the Role:
The Sr. Events Specialist is responsible for leading the execution of event logistics for internal and external events. These events include large annual conferences, smaller regional meetings and an assortment of employee engagement events. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager with superior organization and communication skills, who interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of leadership, across multiple teams, as well as with external vendors and clients. The Sr. Events Specialist will report to the Sr. Director, Communications, Events & PR.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development, planning and execution of key internal and external events.
- Manage execution of contracts, logistics, budget, creative, vendors and assets.
- Build and manage all event timelines.
- Attend site visits and give recommendations on event layout and execution as needed.
- Lead creation of event agenda, concepts and themes, partnering with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas.
- Manage and oversee events on the day of as required, including problem-solving, directing event set-up/take-down, and organizing deliveries and vendors.
- Oversee all technical elements of meetings (both internal and external).
- Manage relationships with third-party partners.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify their event vision, needs and to ensure strong execution to goals.
- Provide general communications support, like content for event websites, invitations, deck design, etc., as needed.
- Oversee and maintain the company event calendar, scheduling key meetings, team events and company-wide activities in partnership with key departments and stakeholders and ERG (Employee Resource Group) leaders.
- Travel to events and site inspections, 10-15% travel throughout the year
About the Pay:
- Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annual

- Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.
About You:
- 3+ years in marketing, communications, retail or related discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, communications or a related field preferred.
- Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to drive and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience successfully driving projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, often ambiguous, and ever-changing environment.
- Open to feedback and suggestions: You thrive in a highly collaborative environment that is also rich in feedback.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and influence cross-functionally and vertically throughout the organization.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and an eye for catching spelling, grammar and sentence structure errors.
- Advanced PC Skills including Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel for budget management).
- Experience with Box, Canva and Adobe Editor a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of project management tools, like Asana.
