As a Sr Financial Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities for our Performance Material Controls (PMC) business part of Industrial Automation (IA) segment. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise in financial analysis and forecasting will contribute to the success of our PMC business and help drive its growth and profitability.

You will report directly to Director of Finance/ FP&A, and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the financial performance of our PMC business by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, building models to report and control Fixed costs, identifying trends, and recommending actions to optimize financial results. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, budgets, and forecasts, and provide insights to support business planning and decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Forecast, manage and report fixed cost trends, and build a behavior of functional ownership.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actions to optimize business results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Review and look for areas of opportunities in the R&D spend by collaborating with the engineering team.
  • Support AOP and rolling forecast process and system loads.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience in the technology industry or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data
