Sr. Financial Analyst - MRO

The Senior Financial Analyst will be coordinating and assisting the Director of Finance Service Centers in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts, prepare monthly Performance to Budget Analysis and Reports, prepare weekly performance and business metrics package for the MRO business of DFJ. The Senior Financial Analyst will also work with the Accounting Manager MRO during close to assure revenue and cost of sales are accurately reflected.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Coordinate and assist the Director of Finance MRO in producing annual and monthly budget and forecast reports and other financial metrics for all departments for MRO, including:
• Preparing Sales actual vs budget analysis
• Preparing Expenses actual vs budget analysis
• Preparing Gross Margin actual vs budget analysis
• Annual budget consolidation
• Prepare monthly and weekly operational metrics and business performance reports.
• Review monthly revenue and cost of sales, and prepare calculations for any accruals necessary for month end closing
• Work closely with IT personnel to identify and maintain source data to further develop reporting capabilities;
• Prepare Ad-hoc reports requested by the Director Finance MRO and the Vice President, MRO;
• Work with operations teams (general manager,operations manager, customer project managers, etc.) to provide business insights and improvement opportunities for the MRO organization.
• Leverage business tools to generate reports efficiently and timely
• Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as-needed basis.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
• Three (3) to five (5) years experience in Financial Analysis role for a company with >$20 million revenue;
• Advanced Excel knowledge and other MS Office applications;
• Knowledge of US GAAP;
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Strong team player and positive attitude.
• Experience with SAP system or any fully integrated ERP system;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Office environment;
• Minimal travel may be required.
