Job Summary:
Reporting directly to our Corporate Controller, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing forecasting, budgeting, and financial analyses at the corporate level to drive growth and profitability. This role also supports our accounting team with analytical forecasting and projections. We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional with deep financial management and accounting expertise, and a strong ability to build cross-functional relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Capacity Building: Assist the Corporate Controller by delivering insightful financial analysis.
Financial Analysis: Evaluate period-over-period and budget variances; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Planning: Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with executives and teams to assess strategic initiatives and ensure financial plans align with business objectives.
Reporting: Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
Accounting Support: Assist with monthly recurring and non-recurring entries and account reconciliations.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage; experience with PowerBI is a plus.
Strong ability to independently analyze data and extract actionable insights.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; experience presenting to C-level executives.
Capacity to translate complex strategic concepts into practical plans, even under pressure.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
Proven accountability with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience.
5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience.
CPA licensure is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary: $140,000 - $155,000 DOE
Discretionary bonus
