Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Flight Manual Manager to develop and management flight manuals at Tinker AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
15+ years experience in flight data and manuals including at least 5 years working in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Possess the knowledge, experience and recognized ability in the technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Prior operational/aircrew experience with in-depth knowledge of flight manual utilization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a flight manual management plan.
- Assist in identify requirements for flight manuals resulting from safety issues, aircraft modifications, different equipment configurations, and operational requirements.
- Review recommended flight manual changes, identify potential impacts of those changes, and provide inputs to the Government program manager.
- Interface and coordinate with foreign customers on flight manual issues.
- Coordinate printing and distribution of flight manuals and the associated flight manual updates.
- Review track, and monitor verification and delivery of flight manual data.
- Prepare reports and plans, requested by the program manager, including data management and funds plans for use by the program manager.
- Attend flight manual related conferences, reviews, and aircrew working group meetings.
- Participate in process improvement meetings, including IPT meetings, PMRs, and other meetings in support of flight manual workload requirements.
- Assist in identifying requirements for manuals to include military use of commercial maintenance, repair, service, overhaul, and flight manuals; arranging for printing and distribution of TO and updates; identifying, reviewing deficiencies and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in accordance with the weapons system contract; and tracking and monitoring time compliance TOs.
