JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sr. Manager of FP&A is responsible for providing reliable financial reporting information to Take 5 Oil Change Leadership and Finance Leadership team that is used to make decisions impacting the performance of the corporation. This role will be primarily focused on supporting the Take 5 OC Franchise business through forecasting, annual planning, monthly reporting and ad-hoc support and modeling.

This role reports to the Vice President of FP&A and offers a high level of visibility with the Take 5 Executive Leadership Team as well as a high level of cross-functional interaction with the Operations, Business Development and Accounting teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes profit-and-loss statements, providing reports and strategic recommendations to management
  • Develop forecasts, annual budget, and analyze trends across sales and other areas of business, including store level planning as necessary
  • Build financial models to help operations monitor compliance and identify opportunities within the franchise system
  • Collaborate with accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Conduct variance analysis on monthly and quarterly results, comparing actual performance to forecast and budgets.
  • Set annual goals for team and oversee analyst work to ensure objectives are met
  • Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and senior leadership
  • Support the team in ad hoc requests and quantifying financials that results in a clear message for leadership


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably with a public company
  • Prior people, and project, leadership experience
  • Self-starter with proven abilities to effectively engage and influence senior executives and cross-functional partner organizations
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required and experience with ERP systems
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines
  • Able to work well with people across multiple functions
  • Ability to communicate/present to senior level managers
