JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Mathematics, the Game Engine Developer IV works with the team to provide a solid and versatile game development kit, used to deliver high quality, captivating and performing games.With a strong understanding of gameplay, he or she assists the game software developers and collaborates with creative and talented partners to develop new features.

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Mathematics, the Game Engine Developer IV works with the team to provide a solid and versatile game development kit, used to deliver high quality, captivating and performing games.With a strong understanding of gameplay, he or she assists the game software developers and collaborates with creative and talented partners to develop new features.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Acts as a key technical reference for the game development team and participates in technical discussions and decisions.
- Participates in the development of new features and modules required for games and new concepts while assisting the Team Lead.
- Programs, maintains, supports, integrates, documents and validates the game code using the game development platform while assisting the Team Lead.
- Participates in and elaborates software design and project analysis.
- Writes and maintains technical documentation, APIs for the game development kit and user-guide.
- Troubleshoot complex issues.
- Researches technical issues and shares findings with the team.
- Manages projects from ideation to completion.
- Other projects and duties as assigned by the manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in computer science, advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in programming, preferably in video game development.
- Demonstrated expertise in C# and. Net 6.0+.
- In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry and its key concepts.
- Experience with the Visual Studio development environment.
- Knowledge of GIT version control tool.
- Ability to communicate in English highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to make key decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
ASSETS:
- Knowledge of C, C++ and Unity 3D.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a team or independently.
