The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is a multi-funded agency whose programs support and assist all types of housing programs. We are seeking qualified applicants for the Senior Housing Program Analyst career opportunity.

About This Role
Reporting to the Senior Affordable Housing Manager, the Senior Housing Program Analyst will perform activities assigned for the Affordable Dwelling Unit (ADU) Program. As a member of a high-performing, energetic, fun, and diverse team, you will administer the locally mandated Affordable Dwelling Unit Program.

Duties will include:
  • Conducting client interviews to determine Program eligibility
  • Creating and maintaining partnerships with community stakeholders.
  • Working with Housing Industry Partners
  • Coordinating community outreach efforts
  • Monitoring Affordable Dwelling Unit homes listed on the resale software system and working with sellers to ensure an efficient sale of the AfDU home
  • Monitoring of Affordable Dwelling Unit Deed Restrictions
  • Timely preparation and completion of applicant reviews, applications, and changes for Housing applications
  • Conducting the annual certification renewal process, calculating and updating baseline rent and unit price for review and approval
  • Conducting on-site inspections as applicable to the development project(s)
  • Managing and assisting in evaluating employees
  • Prioritizing and assigning work
  • Reviewing and interpreting financial statements
  • Developing, evaluating, recommending, and implementing processes and procedures
  • Interpreting and applying applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, and guidelines
  • Analyzing complex information
  • Conducting research for Affordable Dwelling Unit Programs
  • Preparing program related reports
  • Using computers and related software applications.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of related Affordable Housing experience.
Preferences: The preferred candidate will have...
  • Comprehensive experience with procedures and techniques applied to Affordable Dwelling Unit Programs
  • Experience in policy, program, and fund development
  • Experience with grant research and grant-writing
  • Ability to Calculates Resale Prices to determine resale prices of AfDU homes using ordinance mandated sources
  • Experience with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations
  • Experience determining initial and ongoing eligibility of applicants for affordable housing for both acquisition and rental
  • Experience in public speaking representing the Office of Housing and Community Development's Affordable Dwelling Unit Program
  • Experience with strategic planning, data collection and analysis
  • Experience with recordkeeping principles and modern office practices
  • Experience with computer and related software applications
The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with coworkers, supervisors and the public, and the ability to receive and effectively convey work direction.

Special Requirements: Occupancy, Calculation, and Eligibility Certification.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm OR 8:30am - 4:30pm for 37.50hrs per week.
  • Due to the nature of this position, evening meetings, conferences and events will be required.
  • This position qualifies for telework at the Manager's discretion but may revert to in-office scheduling as business needs change.
Starting Salary Range: $70,921.50 - $97,968.00/yr.
