Job Summary

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP), People and Culture, is a strategic and operational leader dedicated to cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture. This role focuses on advancing employee engagement, fostering inclusivity, supporting employee development, and driving organizational initiatives tied to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging (DEIAB). By leveraging HR expertise, data insights, and effective communication, the SHRBP will ensure alignment between people strategies and organizational goals, contributing to LIIF's long-term success.

Reporting Relationships

The SHRBP reports to the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Champion organizational values to foster a motivated and connected workforce.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and workshops.
  • Collaborate with managers to act on employee feedback, enhancing the employee experience.
  • Lead recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements.
  • Partner with internal communications to ensure consistent messaging about engagement initiatives.
  • Analyze engagement metrics to improve workplace satisfaction and retention.

Training & Development
  • Assess training needs and design development programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Deliver workshops and e-learning modules, collaborating with external vendors as needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.

Performance Management
  • Develop and implement performance management systems in collaboration with the SHRBP, Talent Management.
  • Integrate performance management with recruitment, training, and succession planning.
  • Monitor employee performance trends to inform organizational strategies.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging (DEIAB)
  • Lead DEIAB strategies to align with LIIF's mission and values.
  • Set measurable DEIAB goals and provide regular updates to leadership and staff.
  • Partner with employee resource groups to ensure initiatives align with organizational priorities.
  • Deliver DEIAB-focused training to foster inclusivity and understanding.
  • Analyze workforce representation, pay equity, and inclusion metrics to recommend solutions.

Policy Development & Culture Building
  • Develop an annual HR calendar to align culture initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine policies that promote inclusivity and supportive workplace practices.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends and evaluate HR program effectiveness.

Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

Key Competencies
  • Deep understanding of HR principles and labor laws across multi-state environments.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing DEIAB strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Analytical ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving aligned with long-term organizational goals.
  • Adaptability and expertise in change management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree or HR certifications preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee engagement, training, and DEIAB initiatives.
  • Experience managing HR initiatives in multi-state, multi-location environments.
  • Leadership development and organizational development experience are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license; occasional travel required.

  • Work Environment: Hybrid work model requiring at least two on-site days per week.
