The Sr HRIS Analyst is responsible for the effective management and optimization of the organization's HR information systems and software. This role involves maintaining system integrity, implementing new systems and system improvements, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights through data analysis. The Sr HRIS Analyst collaborates closely with HR functions, other internal teams such as Finance and IS, and external vendors to enhance HR processes and support business objectives.

What You Will Do
- Administer and maintain the primary HRIS and payroll platform (UKG) along with other HR software systems. Ensuring accuracy, system efficiency and confidentiality of HR data. Perform routine updates, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve user experience.
- Collaborate with HR and other teams to identify areas for process enhancements. Lead or participate in projects aimed at optimizing HR processes through technological solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and report on HR data. Create deliverables using data visualization to present data in an engaging way with meaningful insights that can be used for decision-making.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to HRIS functionalities. Develop training resources and conduct training sessions to ensure staff are proficient in using HR systems effectively.
- Ensure that HRIS processes comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain data integrity and security, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Lead the implementation of new HRIS modules or systems, including system configuration, testing, and integration with other business systems.
- Liaise with external vendors for system updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Evaluate potential and current HR system solutions ensuring all automation system capabilities are maximized.
Please Apply if You Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; and/or any combination of experience and education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved required
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in HRIS administration or a similar role, with exposure to various HR functions required and
- 2 years experience with UKG required
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in HRIS administration including implementation and maintenance. Advanced proficiency in database management and security.
- HR Knowledge: Must have working knowledge of the majority of HR functional areas, including benefits, payroll, policies, and compliance.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and distill complex issues to others.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
- Project Management: Experience in managing or participating in HR or cross-functional projects, with the ability to lead through influence and inspire others to embrace change and continuous improvement.
- Compliance Knowledge: Must have knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, with the ability to research and manage oversight of new laws, government reporting, and meeting required deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and naturally curious.
- PHR - Professional in Human Resources upon hire preferred
- SHRM-CP - SHRM Certified Professional upon hire preferred
Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying
- You must be at least 21 years of age to perform the duties of this position for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
- Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment, post offer background check.
- Position Location: Chico, CA, Mills River, NC, or remote
- Candidate who can be based at one of our breweries is preferred
