Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Inventory Planning Analyst is responsible for the management and optimization of deployment planning for inventory to the Sales team. They will refine and improve deployment methodologies and tools. The position is responsible for data analysis and metrics reporting of inventory in all areas of the business. This team member is responsible for maintaining and improving inventory tracking systems and preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts of inventory and instrumentation. This position will interact with almost every function and level of the business, including the Senior Leadership Team.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain and improve inventory deployment, rebalancing, and tracking systems to optimize inventory control and placement
  • Prepare annual budget requirements for instrumentation CapEx and inventory/DOH
  • Prepare monthly inventory, DOH, and cash flow forecasts
  • Prepare quarterly EOL and product expiration risk analyses and mitigate risk on revision and portfolio changes
  • Identify opportunities for process and metrics improvements to optimize inventory placement
  • Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues and coordinates with all areas of the Company to resolve those issues with a high sense of urgency
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build new analytics tools as required to help Operations evaluate optimization of OpEx, gross margin, and/or working capital
  • Perform other duties as required


Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of business process experience required, with a minimum of 2 years Supply Chain experience strongly preferred.
  • APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM) preferred
