Our challenge
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Core Java Software Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working in a geographically dispersed team, the candidate will be responsible for front to back project delivery and should be able to mentor and motivate junior team members. The candidate will be self-motivated and should be able to work in a dynamic environment with limited or no supervision.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Alpharetta, GA is $115k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop APIs using core Java/Spring/Microservices Design Pattern and advance technologies.
- Implement OOPS concepts in development phase of application development.
- Develop application code, write unit tests and integration tests using Junit.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, design teams and downstream systems.
- Support the production release, monitoring and triaging issues on time.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of server-side languages including Java and SQL.
- Experience with React, Angular 10+, CSS, and frontend technologies.
- Spring Boot, Web services.
- Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
- Strong architectural design skills.
- A thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures including responsive design.
- Source control (preferably Git), Continuous Integration tools.
- Knowledge of internet attack vectors, protection mechanisms, web application vulnerabilities and their solutions.
Preferred, but not required:
- Banking/Financial Services experience.
- Leading a technical team.
