Come shape the future of Amazon's Worldwide Operations executive leadership pipeline. The Executive Development team in GOLD (Global Operations Learning Development) is seeking a Senior Leadership Development Business Partner to lead one of our flagship programs that identifies and accelerates our next generation of senior leaders.
As a key leader on the team, you'll orchestrate an intensive, multi-week experience that sits at the intersection of executive development, talent assessment, and strategic business partnership. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the Worldwide Operations leadership pipeline while partnering with some of our most senior leaders to drive development experiences that matter to the business. The program combines real business challenges, executive-led development sessions, and sophisticated talent assessment approaches. This role requires someone who can navigate complex stakeholder relationships, design transformative learning experiences, and raise the bar on how we develop Amazon's next generation of executives.
The impact of this role extends far beyond traditional program management. Success means building trusted partnerships across the organization while bringing fresh thinking to leadership development. Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development solution designed to prepare senior leaders to innovate, build, grow, and optimize businesses for Amazon.
- Design transformative learning experiences.
- Actively manage the delivery, execution, and measurement of the program.
- Analyze program effectiveness through multiple lenses (participant experience, business impact, talent outcomes).
- Design and implement robust assessment approaches that provide actionable insights on leadership potential.
- Assess current and future leadership needs through interviews, focus groups, surveys, and analysis of performance data for a population of global, cross-functional executives.
- Maintain a cross-functional stakeholder group of directors and VPs.
- Synthesize and communicate talent insights to key stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
- 6+ years in program or project management.
- 5+ years of managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior management.
- 5+ years of defining program requirements, and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
- 5+ years of facilitating small and large group working sessions.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and improve learning programs and projects in a fast-paced, global organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate degree in organizational psychology, learning science, instructional design, or a related field.
- Ability to deliver independently, with limited guidance; self-starter with strong drive, bias for action, and results orientation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities including collaborating with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers to transfer knowledge.
- Experience developing content for a global leadership audience.
- Proven track record of serving in a 'trusted advisor' capacity to customers and executives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
