Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Leasing Representative creates income and value for the company through merchandising and understanding consumers and trends. This individual must be able to identify opportunities for improved performance at centers, generate sufficient leasing activity to achieve NOI objectives for assigned center(s), and obtain deals and rents and capital investment at levels that can be approved by the Company.

Responsibilities
  • Canvassing for prospective new tenants-cold calling and follow up
  • Dealmaking - Negotiating leases and follow up through execution to store opening
  • Tenant relations
  • Preparing lease request packages
  • Merchandising planning
  • Budgeting/forecasting
  • May carry out more difficult leasing assignments such as leasing of new projects, renovations and expansions with minimal supervision
  • May also entail facilitating the professional development of Leasing Reps and Jr Leasing Rep
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; CLS designation preferred
  • Five years of experience in retail sales, product sales or retail leasing
  • Understanding of shopping center merchandising and leasing
  • Strong communication, sales and time management skills
  • Moderate level of Word and Excel skills

Compensation
  • Salary type: Exempt
  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
  • Annual Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
  • Annual Bonus: 60%
