T-Mobile's sports team is tasked with driving Brand and Business objectives through strategic partnerships. The Sr. Manager, Baseball will lead a talented team responsible for handling our partnership with Major League Baseball which includes, Minor League Baseball, Little League International, and Club partner extensions. They will spearhead development of annual sponsorship strategies, lead key relationships, drive portfolio planning and partner negotiations, lead all aspects of cross-functional planning and campaign execution, and be accountable for performance measurement and executive recapping.

The individual should be a results-driven, dynamic marketer with experience leading and developing high-performing teams. They will demonstrate expertise in the field of national and/or local sponsorships and bring a consistent track record of working cross-functionally to build and implement integrated marketing plans that exceeded business goals. They will lead a team of two and report to the Director, Sports Sponsorships.

Responsibilities:
Set clear team goals, develop and empower directs, and cultivate a collaborative and team-first culture
Lead development and implementation of T-Mobile's Enterprise baseball strategy
Partner with line of business collaborators to support annual/bi-annual planning efforts
Spearhead necessary portfolio evolution and drive partner negotiations
Partner with Talent team to build and lead a compelling Player roster that support key business priorities
Lead all aspects of strategic planning and cross-functional execution of all baseball-related integrated marketing and activation plans. Includes high impact tentpole moments, such as, Opening Week, All-Star, and Little League World Series
Develop comprehensive presentations, briefs and other materials for planning and executive needs
Build and run DTD relationships with properties, agencies, vendors, and key internal partners
Drive related measurement workstreams and cross-functional and/or executive reporting
Lead all-up sponsorship and activation budget
Provide additional support across the Sports team, as needed

Qualifications:
7-10 years of relevant experience (e.g., brand marketing, sponsorship marketing)
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
General understanding of the wireless industry, 5G technology and how it's being demonstrated across partnerships to enhance fan experiences and partner operations
Strong understanding of the baseball ecosystem - landscape, audiences, trends, partner activations, etc.
Creative and strategic problem solver with shown ability to deliver clear and concise marketing strategies and briefs to all organizational levels
Experience leading complex projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
Track record of building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional team members, agencies, vendors, and partners

Base Pay Range: $104,200 - $188,000

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
