We are currently hiring a Sr. Manager, Channel and Communications to join our Mississauga Marketing Team! This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

What you'll do:

  • Develop strong industry, sales, and customer knowledge in close partnership with the commercial team, including competitor insights, optical industry trends, and a deep understanding of the sales process and success factors.
  • Leads channel program and promotion strategy and planning, including development of go-to-market campaigns and strategic account initiatives.
  • Work closely with the commercial team in order to strategize, plan, and execute channel customer programs and to develop turn-key marketing strategies and tactics to ensure the success of the sales team in the field.
  • Set industry trade & internal event strategy, focusing on larger national show, the national sales meeting, and a regional show strategy that supports the Sales initiatives.
  • Lead external trade communications strategy, including digital and social campaign, PR, and media opportunities in support of the HOYA Vision Care family brands, including HOYA and Pentax.
  • Create Key Accounts and Strategic marketing campaigns to drive growth and partnership with large, partnered accounts, including marketing initiatives, customized programs, and customer specific trade events.
  • Lead the development of the ECP and Marcom marketing budgets and ensure yearly spend falls within budget parameters in partnership with Finance.
  • Ensure accurate and on budget reporting of all expenses.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, 7-10 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in both Channel and Communications Management gained in a fast-paced multi-national environment.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role working with executive management as well as leading a team.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage executives and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and software applications (e.g., Power BI).
  • Optical industry or healthcare experience highly preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
