Summary

This is a highly demanding and challengingrole for a seasonedand experienced Data practice professional. The Senior Manager Data Governance and Architecture will be leading and managing Data as a Service model, data governance strategies, policies, and practice across BCE. This role requires a deep understanding of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as a proventrack record of success in leading and managing data practice initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and best practices
• Oversee the design and evolution of our enterprise data architecture of data platforms
• Spearhead the Data as a Service initiative, enabling efficient data access and utilization across the organization
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align data strategies with business objectives
• Manage a team of Enterprise data architects and governance specialists
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards
• Drive data quality improvement initiatives and establish data quality metrics
• Develop and maintain data catalogs and metadata repositories
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration on data-related projects

Critical Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data governance, enterprise architecture, or related fields
• Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale data initiatives
• Strong understanding of data management technologies & Enterprise Data Model concepts
• Experience with Data as a Service concepts and implementation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF) are a plus
