- Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of accounting, cost control, and financial systems.

What You'll Do
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and the annual operating plan for US & Mexico Manufacturing.
- Analyze business performance and deliver strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Prepare and present executive-level financial reports and reviews.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality across all processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning. Ownership of financial plan processes for the company, including development of processes for: forecasts, annual operating plan, annual strategic plan, and roadmap reviews.
- Reporting. Consolidation of monthly financial results and timely communication to senior leadership and corporate.
- Analysis. Examination and interpretation of key metrics and results.
- Insight. Delivery of timely information to senior leadership to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
- Evaluation. Responsible for overseeing the preparation of capital expenditure requests, ensuring they are in compliance with policies, company objectives and provide appropriate return on investment consistent with the company's goals.
- Oversight. Monitoring capital spending projects to ensure ACE compliance and post audits.
- Compliance. Development and maintenance of internal controls, accounting policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley adherence.
- Advisory. Responsible for preparing operational and financial reports and providing analysis, counsel, advice and recommendations to help top-level management make operating decisions to reduce costs, improve profits and return on investment and to achieve strategic goals and plans.
- Collaboration. Engagement with accounting teams to ensure the timely completion of monthly financial reporting.
- Presentation. Preparation and delivery of financial reviews and analysis to corporate leaders.
- Revie.: Examination and reporting of Joint Venture operations.
- Regulation. Responsible to work with financial and operational accounting teams to ensure compliance globally with all regulatory requirements, including GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, Foreign governments, Customs etc.
- Governance. Management of legal responsibilities in coordination with internal and external counsel.
- Improvement. Leadership in process optimization and business efficiency initiatives.
- Liaison. Coordination with corporate financial staff as needed.
- Development. Commitment to personal growth through participation in available training.
- Organization. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and Supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
- Safety. Maintenance of a clean and hazard-free work environment and proactive reporting of unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Extensive experience with regional accounting and tax requirements, accounting concepts, foreign currency, consolidation, and internal control best practices.
- Fluent in English and Spanish - reading and writing.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from four-year college or university.
- Minimum of ten years in similar or equivalent/related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience with regional accounting and tax requirements, accounting concepts, foreign currency, consolidation, and internal control best practices.
