The Role:

As a fast-growing company with global operations, the main objective of this hands-on role is to lead global FP&A processes related to long-range planning, AOP, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Key responsibilities include leading the global FP&A processes and cadence related to long-range planning, AOP, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • The successful candidate will support and continuously develop the long-term planning model, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan and business objectives
  • Partner with the business and functions to develop and deliver on their financial goals, analyze trends and variances, conduct scenario analysis, and develop contingency plans to navigate changes in market conditions
  • Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of the business strategy, operations, risks, and controls
  • Analyze cost drivers, operating expenses, and cash trends; work with business unit finance teams to ensure spending aligns with targets
  • Contribute to the development of a capital strategy and corporate structure that supports long-term business objectives and provides strategic flexibility
  • Own the management reporting including developing, optimizing, and distributing KPI dashboards; assist in updating material for executive leadership and board of directors' presentations
  • Maintain accurate financial records in relevant systems throughout budget and reforecast processes
  • Collaborate with the global financial accounting team to maintain an effective internal control environment, and ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with financial policies and protocols
  • Proactively ensure month-end processes are relevant, accurate, and timely
  • This role will assess and make recommendations with respect to FP&A information systems to ensure they support the finance team's needs and will coordinate the process of defining, analyzing, and solving problems related to those systems

  • Some travel may be required

Essential Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a multinational organization
  • Professional Accounting or Finance qualifications
  • Extensive expertise in a global FP&A function including corporate modelling, AOP/forecasts, management/KPI reporting in a global/multi region environment
  • Outstanding business partnering experience, gaining trust with executive leaders by demonstrating a broad view of the operating environment, and being strategically minded
  • Advanced corporate modelling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams, build strong cross-functional relationships, and collaborate to drive process excellence
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • BI experience (Workday Analytics, Power BI, or similar) and ERPs (eg QAD or similar)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Alignment with Saluda's core values

Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience in the medical device industry or a similar highly regulated business environment
