Sr. Manager, Financial Services & Credit

This Sr. Manager, Financial Services & Credit plays a key role in providing analytical and business decision support for the Credit and Accounts Receivable groups. In this role, you will lead strategic projects, support system integration(s), and partner cross-functionally to drive efficiencies within Daikin Applied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities for the A/R department.
• Analyze results, monitor variances, and identify trends to recommend improvements to management.
• Assist with month-end AR reconciliation.
• Work directly with internal or external customers to research and resolve more complex issues.
• Collaborates with staff to gather input and feedback concerning system needs.
• Liaison with IT to manage and prioritize IT requests for Credit including gathering user requirements, assistance with testing, and documentation of processes.
• Analyzes system design alternatives and identifies potential improvements to existing system and processes.
• Support the research, design, testing and implementation of new process initiatives for the department's transition to SAP.
• Manage unclaimed property; approve adjustments and refund requests.
• Manage administrative staff.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• BA in Accounting
• 5-10 years of related experience in Manufacturing or Distribution.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Oracle and SAP softwares.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Warehouse Distribution System (WDS) knowledge
