The Senior Manager, Patient Services is responsible for leading project management efforts that support Verona's patient services strategy and operations. This role will work cross-functionally with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Trade, Compliance, Commercial Operations, Legal) and external partners (specialty pharmacies, hub providers) to drive successful execution of patient support initiatives.
As a subject matter expert in reimbursement services, stakeholder engagement, specialty pharmacy, and hub operations, this individual will play a critical role in optimizing the patient and prescriber experience-from prescription initiation through ongoing therapy. The ideal candidate is an organized, strategic project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position reports to the Vice President, Patient Services.

What you'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end project management of patient support initiatives, including timeline creation, resource planning, risk mitigation, and cross-functional communication.
- Drive execution of patient access programs by supporting business rule development, team training, workflow optimization, and day-to-day operations.
- Monitor project performance, provide regular progress updates, and identify/resolve issues to keep initiatives on track.
- Ensure operational excellence and high-quality service delivery in reimbursement support programs.
- Maintain and update SOPs and business rules to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Align hub operations with specialty pharmacy processes to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional customer experience.
- Support and coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews with patient services partners.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform annual brand planning and vendor performance management.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business or healthcare preferred (e.g., PharmD, RN, PA, MBA).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in patient services, hub operations, project management, or healthcare/reimbursement support. Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive results.
- Strong understanding of reimbursement processes, including benefit verification, prior authorizations, appeals, financial assistance, and copay/bridge programs.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems including Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Familiarity with HCP office operations and patient/prescription workflows; experience in pulmonology preferred.
- Deep understanding of compliance, regulatory guidelines, and HIPAA requirements in patient support.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
