Job Summary

The Prepaid Pricing team collaborates closely with the Prepaid Marketing teams (Metro, T-Mobile Prepaid, and Connect by T-Mobile) to shape device promotions and rate plan offerings. As the Senior Manager of Prepaid Pricing, you will lead a team of 3-5 individual contributors and serve as the primary point of contact and thought partner for Prepaid Marketing leadership. *** This position must be located in Bellevue, WA. This is a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days a week in office.

Responsbilities:
  • Assess, recommend, and develop pricing strategies, offers, and promotions across various business segments to drive profitable growth. Use market insights and financial modeling to advise and shape these strategies.
  • Own the problem-solution framework, analytics, and presentation of pricing reviews and marketing-related initiatives. Leverage data and insights to influence senior leadership and guide critical business decisions.
  • Set key performance indicators and analyze performance to make decisions that support profitability objectives, including return on investment and enterprise value creation.
  • Guide analyses that evaluate and report on critical metrics, such as enterprise value creation, return on investment, and win/loss metrics, ensuring the alignment of pricing strategies with business outcomes.
  • Cultivate productive, team-based cross-functional relationships with key pricing, sales, and marketing partners. Ensure alignment between pricing strategies and broader business goals.
  • Delegate, manage, mentor, and develop team members while driving accountability for performance against targets. Support career growth and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Collect and analyze insights on competitor offerings to pinpoint opportunities and risks
  • Propose strategic competitive responses to ensure T-Mobile remains competitive in the market.
  • Conduct detailed post-mortem analyses of pricing initiatives and promotions, using the results to inform future strategies and improve decision-making processes.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Advanced degree in business, mathematics, finance, or related fields strongly preferred.

Work Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in financial modeling, pricing strategies, and data analytics.
  • 4+ years of experience managing a team of finance or analytics professionals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to executive audiences.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, with expertise in navigating complex environments, evaluating market dynamics, and spotting profitability opportunities.
  • Knowledge of MVP analysis and return on investment analysis, with the ability to apply these frameworks in real-world business decisions.
  • Prior experience with Snowflake (Preferred).

Base Pay Range: $122,300 - $220,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
