This position leads the development and management of new, innovative programs from business case creation to execution for assigned product lines, ensuring a strong product plan and execution..
This position will serve our Water Corporate Division, located in Roswell, GA.
Responsibilities
- Leads the stainless-steel tank product line strategy, including product road mapping, technology road mapping, project execution, go to market planning.
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional managers of Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, and any other functional area lending support to the product development process.
- Leads the stainless steel product strategy, including project prioritization, platform optimization, cost and profitability opportunities, innovation strategies, and joint development optimization.
- Collaborates closely with key regions on stainless steel product needs, requirements, business cases, and priorities.
- Works closely with the development team across Rheem and DeJong to drive projects and winning product solutions.
- Creates and executes a vision, along with the VP of North America Product Management and Sales Leadership, for building an effective approach to product management for stainless steel tanks, in the North American market. This includes North America best practice implementation that leverages our North America presence but is sensitive to regional flexibility.
- Implements communication forums and processes that ensure effective North America coordination for efficiency and highly effective execution.
- Supports major programs requiring leadership and organization across multiple regions by assembling teams, aligning goals, and building project team cadence.
- Provides direct supervision over assigned staff and/or projects.
- Provides performance feedback from strategy to execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience developing marketing, product, sales plans.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering, product engineering.
- Strong product management, project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience leading and supporting product development core teams.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and financial reports.
- Proven ability to work independently and make informed, defendable decisions as they relate to product, project prioritization and resource allocations.
- Ability to travel without restrictions up to 50%.
