Job Overview
The Sr Manager, Public Safety leads a team of Account Executives to create and execute sales strategies specifically for Public Safety and First Responder customers. Leveraging your industry experience, you will focus on driving new sales, customer retention, and delivering world-class solutions tailored to the unique needs of these customers. As Sr Manager, you are expected to motivate and coach the team to achieve strong performance results, play a pivotal role in strategy and execution within the Public Safety sales vertical, and are responsible for hiring and developing talent. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, working with cross-functional teams to retain customers, and supporting non-selling and administrative functions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develops Sales Generation and Strategy: Creates and implements sales strategies to drive business growth in the Public Safety sector, focusing on First Responder customers. This includes identifying new sales opportunities, setting sales targets, and developing plans to achieve them.
  • Customer Retention and Maintenance: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for customer retention and ensure the maintenance of the existing customer base. This involves analyzing customer needs, developing retention strategies, and implementing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Non-Selling and Administrative Functions: Supports various non-selling and administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Hiring and Developing Talent: Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing sales team. This includes providing training, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team members achieve their full potential and contribute to the overall success of the sales strategy.


Education and Work Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Experience managing a team Required
  • 2-4 years Experience in direct sales management Preferred
  • 10 Years Experience in the Public Safety industry Preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Government Procurement Expertise in navigating government procurement processes, including understanding regulations, preparing bids, and securing contracts. (Required)
  • Strategic Leadership Able to provide visionary leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals including setting clear objectives, inspiring the team, and driving performance to achieve sales targets. (Required)
  • New Customer Acquisitions Demonstrate ability to focus on identifying and acquiring new customers in the Public Safety sector through use of market research, outreach, and converting leads into long-term clients to expand the customer base. (Required)
  • Customer-Centric Approach Prioritizes the needs and satisfaction of customers by delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service. (Required)
  • Strong Industry Knowledge Possesses deep understanding of the Public Safety sector, including the specific needs and challenges of law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services. (Required)
  • Collaborative Teamwork Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including General Account Executives (GAEs), Sales Engineers (SEs), Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and Implementation Account Managers to ensure comprehensive solutions and successful project execution. (Required)
  • Relationship Building Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams to understand customer needs, gain trust, and drive business growth. (Required)
  • Innovative Solutions Encourages and implements innovative approaches to solve customer problems and improve service delivery. This includes staying updated with industry trends and leveraging new technologies to enhance Public Safety solutions. (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $163,900 - $295,600, inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $114,730 - $206,920
