Blackstone Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Security Support Services.

BCI seeks a dedicated and passionate Sr. Manager, Security Support Services to serve as an integral part of the security and care delivery team for a leading healthcare provider.

The Senior Manager of Security Support Services, while not directly accountable for a Profit and Loss statement, plays a crucial role in monitoring and managing the budgets associated with two branch office locations. This includes overseeing the expenses related to establishing these offices and ensuring their ongoing operational costs are effectively maintained. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Manager will assist colleagues within the Security Contract Operations Department by providing support in tracking and analyzing costs. This collaborative effort is essential for maintaining financial oversight and ensuring that all expenditures align with the department's goals and objectives. Through diligent budget management and cost tracking, the Senior Manager will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Security Support Services team.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Administrative Tasks:
  • Create a range of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations utilizing the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Track and respond to the support needs of field operations teams through email, phone calls, texts, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Provide updates to the Director of Security Support Services and/or the Senior Vice President of Security Contract Operations regarding:
  • Outstanding or pending assigned tasks.
  • Support requests or needs within the Security Contract Operations department.
  • Notable incidents or events occurring within the Security Contract Operations department.


Project Management:
  • Work together with other departments to ensure timely completion of deadlines.
  • Track the progress of team members involved in projects.
  • Keep detailed notes, logs, and documentation regarding the project's advancement.

Procurement:
  • Conduct research, procure, and distribute necessary items for the Security Contract Operations department.
  • Arrange accommodations, supplies, meeting spaces, and food as required.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Operations department to coordinate large or high-cost purchases.


Required Skills
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience/
  • Four years in healthcare security.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel.


Preferred Experience / Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Security and/ or Business Administration.
  • Six years in Healthcare Security.
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong ability to work with little direct supervision.
