Location/Division Specific Information

Position can be based in Tewksbury, MA, Madison, WI, or Oakwood Village, OH, and will support the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD).

Discover Impactful Work:

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain SIOP will lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes to ensure alignment between the demand plan, supply plan, and financial plan. This role is critical in driving operational efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and optimizing inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and ability to drive process improvement initiatives in demand and supply planning processes including future technology platforms. The candidate should possess cross-functional skills to effectively collaborate with functional groups, such as Operations, Product Management, Commercial, R&D, IT and Finance.

A Day in the Life:
  • Own the monthly SIOP process, including maintaining SIOP standards, governance, and metrics.
  • Facilitate productive dialogue and consensus-building with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and changing market dynamics.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and input from Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams.
  • Measure forecast accuracy and implement improvements to enhance predictability. Partner with senior management to align demand planning initiatives with overall business strategies and goals and ensure alignment between revenue and demand plans.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement to develop feasible supply plans that meet demand requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the SIOP process to measure improvements in revenue, service levels, inventory, and profitability.
  • Assess the SIOP maturity level, develop the strategic roadmap to improve, and partner with the business units to define action plans to close the gaps including capability advancement to strengthen SIOP expertise.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SIOP process.
Keys to Success:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field required. MBA or advance degree preferred.
  • APICS or related professional certification preferred.
Experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role required.
  • Previous experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using supply chain management and demand planning software and systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team as a collaboration driver in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Process and systems agility by understanding multiple processes across different systems and tools to produce accurate results and manages ambiguity by being comfortable with dynamic and ambiguous situations and able to present options for resolution.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to use data from a variety of sources to draw conclusions and insights and translate those insights into actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problems solving skills and creativity, adaptable to new and changing situations.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
