The Pittsburgh Steelers are seeking a full-time Sr. Manager, Video Producer/Editor to join the Content team. Under the guidance of the Executive Producer, this position will drive production processes for multiple and diverse projects and often do so simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a skilled and experienced video professional, and an accomplished editor/producer, who not only has the ability to create compelling content but also has experience in managing production personnel through a production process. This person is a creative storyteller, always seeking to infuse innovative new approaches to their work and has a demonstrated ability to take projects from inception all the way to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong demonstrated experience editing and producing a wide array of original programming, including, but not limited to, long and short form content for major sports, entertainment, or broadcast brands across various media platforms.

This content position will work alongside other members of the Content team, as well as collaborate with other key departments, including Corporate Sales, Marketing, Community Relations, Public Relations, among many others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be creative and self-motivated and will possess extensive experience in all aspects of video production, including studio production with a focus on producing, editing and writing.
This content position will work alongside other members of the Content team, as well as collaborate with other key departments, including Corporate Sales, Marketing, Community Relations, Public Relations, among many others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce short and long-form content, including, but not limited to, features, interviews, sponsored content, trailers, teases, promos, commercials on a year-round basis.
- Pre-produce, line-produce and post-produce various studio shows, both live and to tape.
- Under the guidance of the Executive Producer, develop multiple projects simultaneously - from concept to completion.
- Manage production personnel (producers, editors, production companies) through simultaneous projects
- Work with internal and external parties on branded content development, which could include those with limited production knowledge, with the goal of producing a high-end product.
- Write and edit scripts
- Pitch new concepts to the Executive Producer, video team as well as the greater Content team.
- Work schedule to include regular working hours during the week. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
Qualifications and Requirements: - 5+ years professional experience as a producer and/or editor for a major sports team or major media brand.
- 2+ years' experience managing production personnel and projects
- Demonstrable, relevant experience creating and producing compelling programming of various genres, formats, and lengths, for all media platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in all facets of production processes, including the Adobe Creative Suite, required.
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed.
- Experience in a sports environment is preferred.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs, for an extended period of time.
