We are hiring a new Sr. Manufacturing Systems Engineer in our Asian food plant in Beaumont, CA! In this plant-facing role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to improve safety, quality, waste, and efficiency across targeted food manufacturing lines and systems. You will leverage your technical expertise to develop capability within the manufacturing team to deliver breakthrough performance and machine performance efficiency improvements.

The base salary range for this position is $90,750 to $151,250 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Services(CIS) or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced knowledge of server based Windows operating systems; advanced knowledge ofnetwork (IP based) communications infrastructure; advanced knowledge of server level troubleshooting techniques; Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include theMicrosoft Office Suite and Outlook; intermediate proficiency with numeric data analysis; advanced interpersonal andcommunication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Drive process improvements in food manufacturing processing and packaging systems, most specific to reliability, line efficiency, and waste reduction
- Lead efforts to identify and drive cost savings projects (i.e., material optimization or waste reduction)
- Create and improve manufacturing instructions and standards to increase sustainability and reduce production variation
- Develop and deploy advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses
- Provide technical leadership to solve problems, drive improvements in production systems and implement standards to ensure sustainment
- Serve as a subject matter expert in processing and packaging product transformations (interfacing between materials and food production equipment)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of post-colleague related manufacturing engineering experience, ideally within consumer-packaged goods (CPG)
- Bachelor of Science Degree ideally within mechanical, chemical, industrial or electrical Engineering
- Experience with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Statistical process control software such as Minitab and experience with data analysis are a big plus
- Leadership of structured problem-solving approaches such as Lean, Six-Sigma, or TPM
