Role Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) is a key leader in our B2C Marketing Team, collaborating with the Vice President of Consumer Marketing to develop impactful marketing programs that drive value for the organization and its clients. This role is crucial in serving as a marketing consultant to client community banks and credit unions offering our banking products to consumers, leading development and delivery of market assessments for their go-to-market (GTM) and prospecting strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation and execution of high-impact marketing initiatives to support GTM and prospecting goals.
Collaborate with team and external partners to enhance the brand's market positioning.
Partner with external agencies to drive adoption of our marketing strategies through data-driven consultations.
Manage client communication campaigns.
Serve as a thought leader, offering expertise in marketing programs and tools to enhance client marketing performance.
Work closely with Client Directors and Marketing Support Specialists, ensuring alignment with current marketing strategies and best practices.
Cultivate and maintain high client satisfaction by delivering effective marketing solutions.

About You
Self-driven and results-oriented with a passion for consumer marketing.
Proven experience in managing B2C marketing programs and leading successful campaigns.
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to drive collaboration and deliver insights to improve marketing outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities)

1. Infuses the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction

2. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the B2C landscape for clients and Kasasa.

3. Analyze consumer behavior, market conditions, and competitive activities to inform strategic decisions.

4. Develop market segmentation models to better understand and target key customer segments.

5. Prepare detailed market assessment reports and present findings to senior leadership.

6. Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies that align with business goals and drive brand growth.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated marketing plans that include digital, social, content, and traditional marketing channels.

8. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.

9. Lead the development of marketing programs or offerings to help elevate clients' performance, satisfaction, and grow tangible and perceived value Kasasa provides them.

10. Manage and execute email marketing journeys through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

11. Manage client marketing engagement and consultation reporting on Salesforce.

12. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

13. Work with VP, Consumer Marketing to develop annual team strategies.

14. Ensure integration between various teams (Marketing, Product, Client Success, Sales, Compliance, and PR) .

15. Propose innovative concepts, technologies, and promote new ideas to the team and key stakeholders to grow revenue, increase opportunities and conversion, and drive overall improvements.

16. Provide on-going support for ad-hoc needs and requests from cross-functional teams.

17. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications)

1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

2. Proficiency in platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, JIRA, and Hubspot.

3. A creative yet analytical mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

4. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across teams.

5. Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

6. Proactive and resourceful approach to managing initiatives from start to finish.

7. Ability to work both autonomously and in cross-functional teams.

8. Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

9. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

10. Kasasa enforces a hybrid in-office policy, with a required minimum of 3 days in office.

11. You will be asked to participate in culture related meetings, activities, and events. We firmly believe that building culture and teamwork in a hybrid environment requires extra intentionality, and thus your participation and engagement isn't just encouraged - it is required and part of your role responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day

2. Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers

3. Daily operation of standard office equipment

4. Frequent use of oral communication to perform work

5. Lifts and moves 7-10 pounds occasionally.
