Description:

This role is responsible for in-depth analysis of the consumer and wholesale business, developing and maintaining statistical models for data driven audience targeting and revenue growth. Interacts with the marketing and wholesale teams providing insights, campaign performance, dashboard visualizations and data logic supporting ongoing marketing campaigns. Additionally, this role is responsible for querying customer database records based on marketing segmentation criteria and model scores for campaigns and identifying new data attributes for enhancing machine learning models.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify areas of improvement in business processes and technology usage through translating business needs into tangible data and tool requirements pertaining to machine learning
  • Mentor team on analytic approaches, data visualizations and provide various data techniques to accomplish analytical tasks
  • Continuously seek machine learning platform efficiencies and scalability by enhancing machine learning models and ensuring the current machine learning solution is positioned for future organization growth
  • Provide machine learning visualizations, documentation and cross-train team members on machine learning techniques
  • Implement Test & Learn best practices for direct mail and e-mail vehicles identifying minimal population sizes to achieve statistical significant results
  • Develop new analytical tools and enhance existing ones where needed
  • Partner with cross functional teams such as Wholesale, Digital Marketing, Marketing and Business Intelligence to understand organization analytical needs and strategic goals
  • Performing in-depth analysis and mining of customer insights with the objective of boosting business growth
  • Provide recommendations for campaign enhancements, audience targeting optimizations, revenue growth, and possible new business opportunities by leveraging data and analytics
  • Build data products for end-users with the objective of augmenting their day-to-day needs
  • Work with marketing business stakeholders to analyze A/B tests of marketing campaigns and design proper statistical experiments for A/B testing marketing treatments
  • Identify data tasks that can be optimized and automated
  • Oversee and maintain a consolidated data infrastructure such as data pipelines working with BI to create various training data sets for machine learning models used within the organization
  • Build machine learning and statistical models to augment marketing initiatives such as propensity models, product recommenders, anomaly detection, statistical forecasts, and automated insights
  • Develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses to ensure data marketing segments and visual reports meet business stakeholders needs
  • Support marketing campaigns by extracting customer database records based on model scores and or segmentation criteria
  • Develop Amazon Marketing Cloud Sales and marketing campaign insights
  • Oversee Amazon Marketing Cloud Audience Development and Reporting
  • Support product sku profitability for Amazon and Walmart
  • 40% onsite attendance is an essential function of this role
  • Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
  • Minimum 3+ years of data analytics, machine learning and data visualizations experience in Marketing, CRM, Pricing, Sales or related vertical
  • Ability to write SQL queries to extract and analyze data, advanced excel skills, experience working in Alteryx, R Studio, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio a plus
  • Strong business acumen and advanced communication skills; desire to learn new technologies & skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization platforms such as: Power BI, Tableau, R Shiny a plus
  • Proficiency of statistical analysis scripting languages such as R or Python a plus
  • Experience with Marketing Automation tools such as Adobe, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua a plus
  • Ability to interpret customer data and understand its impact on strategic objectives
  • Hands on experience performing advanced analytics, machine learning development and platforms, mentoring peer analysts and presenting data in a clear and concise format to senior leadership
