The PPO-Test team features a collaborative environment with highly creative, inquisitive people developing technologies and solutions to test display and sensing modules for various Apple products and new technologies. Our team features opportunities for individuals to contribute across a wide spectrum of subject areas and product lines. Partnering closely with product design team, and optics, electrical and software engineering to deliver outstanding products and ground breaking technologies! Join us as a Mechanical Engineer owning the design, development and deployment of test systems for touch, sensing and display modules for mass production. The role involves working closely with the product design teams to support the entire gamut of Apple products and new technologies.
Description
- Drive, end-to-end mechanical design of stand-alone functional test systems
- Work with multi-functional teams for test system development & deployment
- Design systems for automation integration & high-volume production environments
- Develop system requirements, perform detailed analysis & testing
- Apply engineering knowhow in the areas of optics, precision mechanism design & motion control
- Apply scientific methods\\testing to debug issues and implement robust solutions.
- Document best practices, SOPs and maintain a library of proven designs
- International travel required
