PEG Hospitality Group manages a portfolio select and limited-service hotels across the United States. Our brands include Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton Brands as well as a independent brands.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Digital Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining digital marketing strategies to meet objectives and enhance the image of their assigned hotels. They will evaluate customer feedback, market conditions, property forecasts, and competitor information, to implement marketing strategies. They will create, coordinate, and execute all digital marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for the hotels. They will also lead, mentor, and train all senior digital sales and marketing managers for PEG Hospitality Group.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead monthly marketing strategy and review calls for assigned hotels
  • Attend bi-weekly revenue management calls to align strategy
  • Involvement with ownership calls as needed to discuss strategies, budgets and past performance
  • Audit brand websites for areas that need to be enhanced, revised or removed, and implement necessary changes and revision
  • Create brand aligned collateral and digital files
  • Stay current with brand marketing tools
  • Ensure all hotel listings are optimized, visible, accurate, up-to-date and appealing to prospective guests
  • Resolve content changes to Online Travel Agency (OTA) websites as necessary
  • Work with assigned hotels on OTA content scores
  • Advise paid placement and ad space for specific OTAs and manage promotional budget and ad spend on behalf of hotels
  • Identify hotels with needs and opportunities for paid advertising
  • Make recommendations and manage funds and strategies for approved hotels
  • Recommend retargeting ad campaigns and strategies as needed to improve web direct traffic and conversion
  • Assist property teams by consulting content creation for Social Media platforms
  • Engage General Managers, Directors of Sales, and Front Office to ensure everyone has appropriate access to appropriate channels to optimize property performance.
  • Work directly with hotels to review and improve online reputation scores and rankings
  • Develop digital sales and marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in market supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competitive set.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains PEG Hospitality Group corporate social media presence.
  • Monitors and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Collaborates with peers to identify new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Interact with all levels of the organization and articulate a vision and develop & deliver supporting digital plans
  • Assist in the process of opening hotels/onboarding assets for sales and marketing
  • May leverage expertise of advertising, media, and PR experts to improve sales and marketing results.
  • Design and support all aspects of our digital marketing department including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Maintain relationship with brand approved photographers and assist with scheduling and content of shots.
  • Prepare property teams for photo shoots. Ensure the hotel understands the content needed and has the resources to achieve the best results possible from the shoot.
  • Assist VP of Revenue Strategy with social media posts related to PHG.
  • Responsible for maintaining PHG website to keep information accurate and current.


Management Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and Provide support to Digital Sales and Marketing team members.
  • Train all new Digital Sales and Marketing team members.
  • Conduct and lead monthly team call for the digital team.
  • Work with the VP of Revenue Strategy to create yearly budgets for each property.
  • Prepare analysis and report to leadership team on monthly ROI's and initiatives to the PHG leadership team.
  • Participate during monthly PHG Revenue Team Call and work with the marketing team to prepare for meetings and follow through with Action Items from call.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third party vendors, e.g. Expedia, Booking.com, Koddi, etc.
  • Collaborate with VP of Revenue Strategies on ensuring the marketing team pulls through brand values and initiatives set by brand partners.

Requirements:

Education:
  • 2-year college degree plus three years of experience in digital marketing.

OR
  • 4-year college degree plus two years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer Certification

Experience:
  • Experience with brand systems including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, and/or Wyndham
  • Hospitality experience
  • Koddi paid media buying platform
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) or Canva graphic design experience
  • Google Analytics and/or Google Ads (formerly AdWords) experience
  • Wordpress Experience
  • Understanding of STR reports to interpret data
  • Hotel sales experience

Skills and Capabilities:
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing or e-commerce, particularly within the hospitality industry
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on major hotel search engines
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate bookings
  • Managing processes
  • Able to develop budget
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
  • Strong time management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.


Physical Requirements :
  • Must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at desk.
  • Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard and tolerate prolonged periods performing work using a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally, sometimes with overnight stays required.
