Job Overview:

Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Planning

The Supply Planning team is dedicated to ensuring the alignment of the Supply Chain to deliver optimal case fill rates and working capital targets at the lowest total delivered economic cost to the business. This role is crucial in aligning planning systems and processes to facilitate successful execution across all planning and coordination functions, with a strong emphasis on maintaining and enhancing partner relationships.

Responsibilities:

Analysis & Planning:

Provide comprehensive analysis to determine short, mid, and long-term plant production staffing and DC replenishment. Ensure the KDP Supply Chain meets customer requirements at the lowest operating costs possible. Manage partner shipments, productivity opportunities, and partner service metrics.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Supply Planning team to resolve supply and capacity issues. Collaborate with plant and capacity planning teams to propose inventory transfers, line/plant capacity balancing, and other solutions to meet Supply Chain objectives. Foster strong relationships with external partners to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

System Support:

Support SAP APO-SNP system and reporting development to adapt to company needs. Lead training sessions with plant and Supply Chain critical contacts on system updates.

Meetings:

Conduct weekly Supply Review meetings with regional personnel, including Commercial Partner Leads, Production Planners, and Transportation/Logistic Managers. Facilitate regular check-ins with external partners to address any concerns and ensure alignment with Supply Chain goals.

Continuous Improvement:

Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, evolving team capabilities and processes to become more efficient, eliminate waste, and prevent obsolescence. Engage partners in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mutual benefits.

Conflict Resolution:

Resolve conflicts and provide solutions by exercising elevated levels of influencing, negotiation, and communication skills. Proactively address issues as they arise, maintaining open lines of communication with partners to mitigate potential disruptions.

Forecast Review:

Review weekly branch forecast performance to ensure weekly ad activity and demand trends are accurate. Collaborate with partners to validate forecasts and adjust plans as needed.

Dashboard & KPI Improvement:

Publish daily regional dashboards and coordinate corrective actions to drive KPI improvement. Share performance metrics with partners and work together to achieve continuous improvement.

Scenario Planning:

Conduct scenario planning and develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions or supply chain issues. Involve partners in scenario planning to ensure comprehensive and effective strategies.

Special Projects:

Manage special projects as needed, with a focus on enhancing partner relationships and collaboration.

Travel:

Travel requires 20-25%.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning.

5 years or more of external customer management experience.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with ERP systems required (preferably APO, SNP, and SAP).

Heavy Excel experience required (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUPS).

PowerBI and Thinkcell experience preferred.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to tell a story with numbers and present findings and reporting to all levels of management.
