The Senior Mobility Consultant is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the relocation process for transferring employees across the US and Canada, serving as the single point of contact (SPOC) and advocate. Provides expert guidance on policy parameters, analyzes home sales and mortgage scenarios, and ensures compliance with client policies. Maintains data integrity, proactively resolves issues, and keeps clients informed to support a seamless relocation experience.

The Senior Mobility Consultant is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the relocation process for transferring employees across the US and Canada, serving as the single point of contact (SPOC) and advocate. Provides expert guidance on policy parameters, analyzes home sales and mortgage scenarios, and ensures compliance with client policies. Maintains data integrity, proactively resolves issues, and keeps clients informed to support a seamless relocation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides policy guidance, assesses transferee needs, identifies solutions, and resolves issues with supplier partners.
- Research and recommend resolutions for policy exceptions or concerns with minimal leadership assistance.
- Evaluates risks and potential impacts for Cornerstone, clients, transferees, and the supplier partner network.
- Conducts in-depth analysis of appraisals and BMAs, offering strategic marketing recommendations to transferees and clients.
- Manages loss on sale calculations, including capital improvements, and explains negative equity situations.
- Oversee client-directed home sale offers, ensuring compliance with policy deviations, IRS regulations, documentation, payment processing, and tax implications.
- Ensures adherence to WERC 11 Key Elements and procedures for Amended Value non-taxable home sale transactions.
- Manages inventory property strategies, including marketing, buyer negotiations, and loss minimization while resolving property condition issues.
- Calculates and applies mortgage buydown and subsidy scenarios in accordance with client policy parameters.
- Analyzes cost-of-living comparisons and determines appropriate adjustments based on client policies.
- Maintains data accuracy by updating systems, documenting communications, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Provides reports and updates to clients on transferee statuses, issues, and resolutions in real time.
- Assists in training and mentoring team members, including onboarding new consultants.
- Participate in BAFO presentations, client presentations, and business reviews as needed.
- Travel to client locations as required (less than 5% of work time).

Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of both education and experience are required. Associates degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in relocation services, real estate, or a related industry.
- Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) desired.
- Strong knowledge of US Domestic and Canadian relocation policies and best practices.
- Experience analyzing home sale transactions, appraisals, and cost-of-living adjustments.
- Proficiency in data management systems and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client service skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple relocation cases efficiently.
