Sr. Network Engineer/Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer/Administrator to manage and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, VPN solutions, Aruba network switches, and ClearPass Policy Manager. This role demands both technical proficiency and strategic insight to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our network systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls, including advanced security services, routing, NAT policies, and IPS/IDS features.
• Manage and monitor site-to-site and remote access VPNs using Fortinet solutions to ensure secure connectivity across all business locations.
• Administer and maintain Aruba switch infrastructure, including stack management, VLAN configurations, and advanced routing protocols.
• Implement and support Aruba ClearPass for network access control (NAC), 802.1X authentication, device profiling, and policy enforcement.
• Perform network health checks, monitor performance, and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Lead or participate in network projects including upgrades, migrations, and integration of new systems.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and participate in audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior network staff and collaborate with other IT teams to support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls.
• Proven experience with Fortinet VPN technologies and centralized management tools (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Strong experience with Aruba switches (OS-CX and/or OS-S) and related networking protocols (STP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Deep understanding of Aruba ClearPass configuration and integration with directory services (AD/LDAP).
• Relevant certifications are a plus:
• Fortinet NSE 4-7
• Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP)
• Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP)
