Description:

Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a Senior Portfolio Manager - DIY Interior & Colorants. You will help develop the product strategy for assigned categories across multiple sales channels in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

You will achieve profitable growth of the product lines across all sales channels. Develop a detailed understanding of the key drivers of their category and product lines for the target market segments, gain insights on competitive products and their perceived value.

You will report to the Director of Product Management and work a hybrid schedule in the Cranberry Twp, PA office.

Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio Management - Develop product value propositions by product platform, review and demonstrate global projects for potential development, support financial product performance and product roadmap development. Ability understand data to build actions based on category performance.
Product Development - Collaboration with technical lab associates to understand viability of new technologies for development of portfolio differentiation and lead prioritization of formula revisions and product launches.
Competitive Analysis - Understanding of product portfolio, new products, SWOT analysis.
New Product Launches - Preparation and review of stage gate and product launch documents/business cases, customer field trials, project management, label design, communications (with marketing) and label and finished goods management to minimize obsolescence costs.
Product Lifecycle Management - Help develop criteria for end-of-life cycle; perform analysis for those candidates, decision and communication of products eliminated and replacement products.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, related technical field, or Marketing required.
5+ years of Product Management and/or Development, Technical, Marketing experience. Experience in the home improvement, paint, coatings, Woodcare, or Stain industry would be beneficial.
