The Senior Systems Engineering Requirements and Configuration Lead for the NGIDE project will be responsible for establishing and maintaining rigorous requirements and configuration management processes across the program. This role will support individual SE members in executing these processes and will ensure that all higher-level requirements are clearly defined, flowed down, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, this role will manage the integration of requirements between Cameo and DOORS.
Minimal travel is expected. This position requires an on-site presence at one of our major locations and will allow for occasional telecommuting.

Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement requirements management processes using Cameo Systems Modeler for the NGIDE project.
- Ensure higher-level system requirements are documented, traceable, and properly flowed down to sub-systems and components.
- Oversee the process of importing requirements from Cameo into DOORS and ensure consistency and traceability.
- Identify current compliance status with the CIDO SEMP and build processes to achieve and maintain compliance.
- Establish and maintain configuration management processes and tools to manage system artifacts for NGIDE.
- Provide guidance and support to embedded SEs in executing requirements and configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure adherence to requirements and configuration management processes.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established processes.
- Provide training and support to team members on requirements and configuration management best practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field and minimum of 7 years' experience in an aerospace or defense oriented engineering environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of DOD customer/contract program System Engineering experience.
- Proven experience in requirements management and configuration management in a systems engineering environment.
- High proficiency in technical problem-solving, including decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, design optimization for production, lifecycle cost analysis, data analytics, and CI/CD automation.
- Proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler and IBM DOORS.
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles and tools.
- Current DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Product lifecycle experience from development through sustainment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and a working knowledge of the Digital Thread
- Experience working within an Integrated Digital Ecosystem
- At least 5 years working in a systems engineering, integration and test environment.
- At least 5 years of experience encompassing all SE elements (requirements engineering, system architecture and design, system integration, V&V, configuration management, risk management, technical planning, technical reviews, decision analysis, sustainment).
- Knowledge and working experience with IT systems delivering engineering development capability.
- Demonstrated experience with DoD standards, DevSecOps guidance, and cybersecurity (NIST 800-171, 053, 190)
