As Senior Privacy Counsel you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impacting Apple's business and products globally. You will help ensure that Apple continues to lead the industry on privacy and ensures we respond to the changing legal landscape under the GDPR, CCPA, etc.
Description
You will be responsible for advising and providing support on privacy related aspects for Apple's internal operations and various products and services, working alongside legal, engineering and business teams. This role will report through the Privacy Compliance Legal team and will offer the opportunity to work directly with key members of the business, engineering and legal teams on a variety of cutting edge projects including:
- Partnering with business teams to advise on privacy matters and conduct privacy reviews, including privacy impact assessments
- Providing guidance on matters relating to internal processing and employee privacy
- Drafting policies and procedures to ensure that technology and business processes meet existing and new privacy legal requirements
- Advising litigation and regulatory partners on applicable privacy requirements
- Supporting compliance and auditing teams and frameworks including in relation to the GDPR, the CCPA, and other privacy laws
- Staying informed of and properly communicating any changes to or developments in privacy laws, regulations, standards, and guidance
