Our HQ offices are based in Orem, UT, but this role, and most of our roles, have a hybrid or fully remote choice. As a team, we focus on results; not on where those results are achieved. THE ROLE

This role in the Fishbowl product organization is responsible for developing the overall design and specifications for creating and enhancing the experience and functionality of user interfaces for Fishbowl's cloud products. Partners with marketing, product management and engineering to create design architecture, specifications and requirements for the look, feel and functionality of products. Uses design tools to create storyboards, samples, prototypes and templates for demonstrations and user testing. Reviews proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance and alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards and suggests improvements. Evaluates market and consumer user experience research and results and updates design architecture based on discovered trends and patterns. Performs user design research, including aggregation and analysis of primary and secondary research data, for consumer and user design acceptance and overall user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Product Designer to help lead the evolution of our Inventory Management, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Commerce software. With 5-7 years of experience in UX, visual design, and user research, you bring both strategic thinking and executional craft. Ideal candidates have a deep understanding of SaaS and Cloud-based products, with bonus points for experience in supply chain or ecommerce domains. You'll play a key role in shaping product vision, driving end-to-end design, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex user and business challenges.

  • Lead and execute user-centered design solutions independently across the full product lifecycle
  • Apply Lean UX principles to quickly validate ideas and drive product alignment
  • Ensure high usability and accessibility standards from ideation through post-launch iteration

  • Contribute to the design/research strategy and roadmap, both short- and long-term
  • Advocate for user needs while balancing business priorities and constraints
  • Drive experimentation and design innovation aligned with product vision
  • Collaboration & Leadership
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to team-wide knowledge sharing
  • Champion a collaborative, transparent design process across disciplines
  • Product & Research Thinking
  • Define clear problem spaces and prioritize design efforts using data and insights
  • Set UX success metrics and integrate feedback loops into the design process
  • Align product goals with user needs and company-wide capabilities

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
  • 5-7 years of product design experience, experience with Cloud SaaS products
  • Proven track record of leading product teams, driving the successful delivery of software products, and challenging the status quo
  • Experience with inventory, warehousing, or manufacturing software is highly preferred
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
  • Strong command of industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, Miro, etc.)
  • Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
  • Track record of launching successful products and iterating based on insights
  • Comfortable designing across web and mobile platforms
  • Familiarity with accessibility and responsive design best practices
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
