The Amazon Payment Acceptance & Experience Team is responsible for how Amazon's customers pay on Amazon's sites and through Amazon's services around the globe. You will work with the biggest players in the payments industry to deliver best-in-class customer payment experiences while driving change in the industry.
The ideal candidate for this role is a creative and customer-obsessed, highly analytical and comfortable diving into data, with strong, technical and business judgement, a knack for operating in ambiguous problem spaces and a demonstrated ability to influence across teams.

Day-to-day activities include partnering with internal engineering leaders to define the right technical solution, understanding product integration gaps/ bugs/ issues with external partners, liaising with stakeholders in North America and Europe to define customization and scaling plans across regions, and providing leadership updates through established mechanisms.

About the team
This role will be part of the PAE Cost to Serve Product team responsible for coordinating efforts across Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk Prevention, Marketing and Data Science teams. The person in this role will focus on initiatives to reduce bad debt across payment acceptance products and optimize cost of payments controllership capabilities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- MBA
- 2+ years experience in Payments space

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
