Key Responsibilities

• Manage and Optimize Platforms: Oversee administration, support, patching, and upgrades for Drupal, PHP, Solr, web servers, and related services hosted on Acquia and AWS environments.
• Develop Custom Solutions: Design, build, and deploy applications to address complex business challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead Technical Projects: Provide strategic direction for Drupal and web development initiatives, including requirements analysis, task delegation, code reviews, and Agile project execution.
• Implement DevOps Practices: Utilize Git for version control, manage pull requests, and streamline deployments via CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI) on Acquia.
• Ensure System Security & Performance: Test, validate, and deploy CMS core/module updates and patches to maintain stability and security.
• Drive End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage full project lifecyclesfrom planning and scoping to execution and reportingwhile communicating progress to stakeholders and the ICT Director.
• Architect Scalable Systems: Propose and implement solutions adhering to best practices for data, service, and business layers.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, designers, and stakeholders to conceptualize, prototype, and launch software applications.
• Optimize Business Systems: Analyze existing workflows and technologies to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements.
• Define Requirements & Specifications: Collaborate with internal teams to document business needs, functional requirements, and technical specifications for projects.
• Develop Project Roadmaps:Create detailed plans encompassing scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Deliver User-Centric Outcomes: Research and translate user requirements (internal/external) into actionable technical deliverables.
• Focus Areas: Technical leadership, Agile project management, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Acquia), CI/CD, and cross-team collaboration.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience computer science or related field such as math, physics or engineering Req

Work Experience

• 7-10 years Experience with Drupal Design, Development, and Administration. Req

Technical Expertise

• Mastery ofDrupal 8+ architecture, module development, theming, and best practices.
• Strong command ofcore Drupal APIs(Form API, Field API, Render API).
• Proficiency inobject-oriented PHP (v7+)and modern PHP frameworks.
• Experience withJavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and Sassfor front-end development.
• Expertise integratingREST APIsinto applications.
• Advanced knowledge ofSQLand relational database systems (RDBMS).

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Skilled inGitworkflows, including pull requests and feature branch management.
• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines(e.g., CircleCI) for automated deployments.
• Experience maintainingApache, Varnish, Solr, and PHPon Linux environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting deployments throughlog analysisacross environments.

Tools & Platforms

• Hands-on experience withAcquia Cloud, and WordPress.
• Familiarity withJiraandJira Service Deskfor project management.

• Ability to translate technical concepts fornon-technical stakeholdersand interdisciplinary teams.
