Job Type: Full Time
Shift: First Shift, Monday - Friday
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Support new and existing projects as well as provide site engineering support
* Executes and manages capital projects from feasibility through commissioning, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost
* Develop and review detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), technical specifications, and engineering documentation
* Leads process design and optimization for critical systems, including reactors, condensers, distillation columns, utilities (steam, chilled water), and storage vessels
* Collaborates cross-functionally with operations, quality assurance, maintenance, and external vendors to achieve project milestones
* Conducts safety assessments such as Management of Change (MOCs), Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs
* Diagnoses and resolves operational and equipment issues by analyzing system performance, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor"s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
- Minimum 7 years "experience with at 5 years working in a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and implement Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), technical specifications
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and project management software
- Baseline proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
