We are seeking a Project Engineer with 2+ years of experience in construction to support project execution across our infrastructure portfolio. In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to support estimating, planning, procurement, scheduling, and project delivery. In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to support estimating, planning, procurement, scheduling, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bidding, estimating, and proposal preparation for upcoming projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, including regular updates.
- Evaluate and review supplier and subcontractor quotes during preconstruction planning.
- Manage procurement of materials, subcontracts, and equipment; issue purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Lead the submittal process, ensuring timely tracking and approval of materials and documentation.
- Support monthly project billing, financial reporting, and documentation.
- Coordinate deliveries and verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and project materials.
- Support field operations by assisting with labor scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
- Utilize construction management software for daily production tracking and performance monitoring.
- Assist with project closeout, including compiling as-builts, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation.
- Maintain all project documentation and support the Project Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry-experience in waterworks is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera P6, and SAGE.
- Experience with submittals, procurement, scheduling, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks across several projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with construction software and systems (Windows 10 environment).
