Description:

The Sr Project Manager must ensure rigorous monitoring of the quality & SSE aspects, timetables and budget of a project. He/She plans, organizes and coordinates all the activities of different parties involved in the project: equipment suppliers, contractors, professionals as well as making sure the internal clients are kept informed. Depending on the needs of the department, the Sr project manager can be assigned major projects requiring systemic analysis and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams. incumbent must also participate in the Change Control process where validated systems are involved.

***This position will more specifically support the packaging automation project for our sterile injectables dosage forms. This exiting project, which will be carried out between 2023 and 2025, aims to transform our packaging operations by fully automating several unit operations. The selected candidate will have ownership and accountability for the purchase, installation, qualification and start-up of the full line which includes an automated visual inspection machine, a labeller, a cartoner, a case former, as well as a fully integrated serialization system. ***

Responsibilities& Duties

  • Play a leadership role in project planning and execution in concert with clients, professionals and contractors in order to improve company's internal operations and logistics.
  • Follow up on work execution: inspection, schedules, meetings, communications.
  • Respect schedules and budgets
  • Prepare and manage projects documentation (CC, URS, FAT, SAT/commissioning, risk analysis)
  • Execute and supervise tests described in the protocols and contributes to the resolution of gaps and non-conformities that may arise during execution.
  • Help with the writing/review of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP/PON).
  • Updates AutoCAD drawings and plans.
  • Define the needs and prepare the feasibility studies associated to major projects.
  • Follow the CAPAs and initiate the necessary corrective measures associated to them.
  • Participates in various audits and follows up with any corrective actions that are associated with the Engineering department


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Stress and Change Management skills
  • Bilingual English / French (oral and written). The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with suppliers outside the Province of Quebec
  • Good communication skills and sense of urgency (Priority management)
  • Promotes good interactions and team work
  • Master computer platforms: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, MS Project computer softwares
