Description:

Position Summary: Reservoir Engineer position responsible for conducting scientific, technical and economic evaluations of reservoirs for forecast/reserve impacts and for production operations to reach company goals. Perform scientific and technical evaluation of reservoirs including production data analysis, type curve generation, hydro-carbon in-place calculations, well test analysis, analytical reservoir modeling.

Responsibilities:
Perform Production Data Analysis to estimate the reserves and key performance parameters of the reservoir. Build analytical models and forecast production profiles. Provide reservoir surveillance of properties and make recommendations for optimizing completion and stimulation design, production rates and reserves.
Forecast production, evaluate reserves, and assess economics of drilling and workover recommendations. May provide data analysis on well performance and improvement of depletion strategies.
Perform analysis and compile data in preparation for mid-year and year-end reserves reports, including the compiling of various well data, well/field production statistics, and budget estimates, and performing basic economic analyses.
Assist in performance of well test analysis, including well performance and permeability analysis
Support Corporate long range planning with requested production and economic data analysis such as capital allocations/requirements, production and reserves.
Support development of production forecasts and reserve estimates used for acquisitions and divestitures.
Provide support to the exploration team in assessing new prospects.
Assist in the preparation of annual reserve report, quarterly updates, budgeting and long term planning by compiling various well data, well/field production statistics, production and capital spending forecasts, budget estimates, and by performing economic analyses.

Minimum Education: Bachelors in Engineering or Mathematics; Petroleum Engineering preferred.
Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience with a Bachelors; 0 years of experience with a Masters
